EXPLANATION OF Mirror Numbers

DESCRIPTION

Mirror numbers refer to numbers that are reversed in order. This means that the digits in the original number switch places to form the mirror number.
For example in a standard game 6/49 in the picture below you see two mirror number marked in X that are counterpart of draw numbers circled in yellow:
23 is a mirror number of 32
12 is a mirror number of 21

When analyzing or filtering by mirror numbers, it’s essential to focus on the mirror numbers created from the actual draw numbers, not the draw numbers themselves.

For example, if the base draw includes the number 23, the program will consider its mirror number, which is 32.

However, not all game numbers can be mirrored. For instance, in this game, the number 27 would create 72, which falls outside the range of valid game numbers and will be disregarded.

Additionally, numbers like 10, 20, and 30 will generate mirror numbers such as 1, 2, and 3, respectively.

In Pick-type games, mirror numbers can be created by reversing the order of the numbers.

For example, if the drawn numbers are 0, 8, 5, their mirror numbers would be 5, 8, 0.

NUMBERS CHOOSING ADVICE

Software can calculate the frequency of occurrence for both original and mirror numbers over a series of draws.
Mirror numbers occurrences depends on a game type.

Please note that in Pick-type games, mirror numbers often can consist of one or more numbers from the base draw, also in many cases all of them are just the Contact type, therefore they are candidate for rejection.
Also. in a Pick game they occur very rarely or never, so you can eliminate them using our filters and reduce wheel systems or generate better tickets

In a Keno game they occur very often so you can include them into generated tickets or eliminate those wheel system combinations which does not include them. Statistically it is very rare that in this game there are no mirror numbers occurrences.

In standard lotto games, the occurrence of mirror numbers can vary, so it's important to observe their patterns using a Visual Analyser and base your decisions on their frequency.
You can track how they appear as Contact, Outside, or other number types, as they sometimes occur less frequently.
For example, in a 6/49 game, when mirror numbers are drawn, you’ll almost never see more than 2 drawn and never more than 3 as Contact numbers or other types. Based on this observation, you can adjust filters to eliminate unnecessary wheel system combinations or avoid including such numbers in those quantities in generated tickets.

FILTERING NUMBERS WITH FILTER Mirror Numbers

WHAT THIS FILTER IS FOR

This filter can be used to filter out lottery numbers, wheel system combinations, or generated tickets.
You can filter those numbers to accept or reject mirror numbers

HOW TO ADD FILTER

On the Filters window select the Add Filter tab, choose Numbers main filters group from the list on the left side of page.
Select Occurrences of Mirror Numbers filter from the list on the right side of page.

Click the Add Filter button located on the toolbar. Selected filter will be added to your Game Filters list.

For more detailed information about filters page please see Filters Interface topic

HOW TO SET FILTER PROPERTIES

After adding the filter, you can go to the Game Filters page in the same Filters window to edit the filter properties.

The added filter will be located under the Numbers group of all filters, with its value in the Property cell set to "Mirrored Numbers"

Use

If selected, the filter will be used to apply filtering.

Action

Sets the filter action applied by the filter to determine the final outcome when filter's condition is met.

You can choose to accept or reject numbers

Select your preferred option from the drop-down menu in the Action column.

- When you choose Accept action then:

The generated ticket include Mirror Numbers.

The wheel system will only accept combinations that include Mirror Numbers.

- When you choose Reject action then:

The generated ticket will not include any of Mirror Numbers.

The filter will reject all of wheel system combinations with Mirror Numbers.

Property

Sets the filter for analyzed numerical values; you can configure it here:

This filter does not have any property to configure; instead, it only displays:

You can adjust the filter property here to select a different number for analysis by choosing another option from the drop-down combo box.

You can modify the filter property to choose a different number for analysis by either using the spin edit control or typing the number directly into the property cell.

Number Main Type

Sets the filter for Number Main Type, allowing you to filter numbers by their type.

If the main type is set to ALL, then all numbers are included regardless of their type.

Please refer to the Filters - Types of Numbers topic for more information about filtering numbers by their type.

You can select the type of number you want to filter by from the drop-down menu.

Number Subtype

Displays or sets the filter for Number Subtype, allowing you to filter numbers by their type.

If the sub type is set to ALL, then all numbers are included regardless of their sub type, only those set in the Number Main Type property are included.

Essentially, you can filter numbers by their occurrences in various types of number configurations.

You can select the type of number you want to filter by from the dropdown menu.

Value

Sets the condition value for the filter to be satisfied.

Here, you can specify how many number types need to meet the filter condition criteria.

This value works alongside the Number Main Type and/or Number Subtype settings

Range

Displays or sets the filter's condition range value, used only when the filter's condition is set to a Range of Values.

The range value applies to Number Main Type and Number Subtype options.

Condition

Filter conditions you can apply to meet the filter Value option criteria .

You can select a filter condition from drop-down list combo box one of the following conditions:

Any Number

This condition is flexible as it allows mirror numbers that may repeat to be accepted or rejected without verifying their type, and no additional properties need to be configured.

When the Action is set to Reject, then:

Mirror numbers from the base draw will be excluded from generated tickets, and any wheel system combination containing such mirror numbers will be rejected.

The wheel system combinations will be rejected if they contain any mirror number from the previous draw.

When the Action is set to Accept, then:

Mirror numbers from the base draw will be included into generated tickets, and any wheel system combination containing such mirror numbers will be accepted.

Equals Filter Value

The outcome of this condition is determined by the value specified under Filter Condition Options >  Value column.

The filter will only meet its criteria if the quantity of analyzed numbers matches the specified value.

When the Action is set to Reject:

Generated tickets or wheel system combinations will not include the specified quantity of mirror numbers from the base draw.

When the Action is set to Accept:

Generated tickets or wheel system combinations will include only the specified quantity of mirror numbers from the base draw.

Higher than Filter Value

The outcome of this condition is determined by the value specified under Filter Condition Options > Value column.

The filter will only meet its criteria if the quantity of analyzed numbers is higher than the specified value.

When the Action is set to Reject:

Generated tickets or wheel system combinations will not include quantity of mirror numbers is greater than the specified value.

When the Action is set to Accept:

Generated tickets or wheel system combinations will include only quantity of mirror numbers is greater than the specified value.

Lower than Filter Value
The outcome of this condition is determined by the value specified under Filter Condition Options > Value column.

The filter will only meet its criteria if the quantity of analyzed numbers is lower than the specified value.

When the Action is set to Reject:

Generated tickets or wheel system combinations will not include quantity of mirror numbers is less than the specified value.

When the Action is set to Accept:

Generated tickets or wheel system combinations will include only of mirror numbers is less than the specified value.

Range of Values
The outcome of this condition is determined by the value specified under Filter Condition Options > Range column.

The filter will only meet its criteria if the quantity of analyzed numbers falls within the specified range

When the Action is set to Reject:

Generated tickets or wheel system combinations will not include them if quantity of mirror numbers is within the specified range.

When the Action is set to Accept:

Generated tickets or wheel system combinations will include them only if quantity of mirror numbers is within the specified range.

Please note that in Pick games only Any Number condition make any sense, it this games there is only one combination of mirror numbers anyway.

EXAMPLE

Here is the example of setting up filter to filter wheel system or numbers when generating tickets:
For example in a game 6/49 and for flexible and rather fail safe filtering please do as following
Set the Action property to Reject
Set the Number Main Type and Number Subtype to All

Under Filter Condition Options > Value set the cell value to little less than the quantity of drawn numbers, for example in a game 6/49 set 2 because it is very rarely that is such games 2 or more mirror numbers occur.

Under Filter Condition Options > Condition choose More Than Filter Value condition

In the result, if any mirror numbers from base draw need be in the generated ticket or wheel system combinations,  newer more that 2 numbers will be included

If you want to include mirror numbers then

Set the Action property to Accept

Under Filter Condition Options > Value set the cell value to for example 2

In the result, the generated ticket or wheel system combinations, will always include some 2 mirror numbers from the base draw
