EXPLANATION OF Groups of Similar Numbers

DESCRIPTION

We can divide all game numbers on a ticket into a few groups that have common numbers pattern (they end with the same digit number),
for example, we create the following groups of numbers:

Group 0 = ( 10 20 30 40 ) All numbers ends with 0

Group 1 = ( 1 11 21 31 41 ) All numbers ends with 1

Group 2 = ( 2 12 22 32 42 ) All numbers ends with 2

Group 3 = ( 3 13 23 33 43 ) All numbers ends with 3

Group 4 = ( 4 14 24 34 44 ) All numbers ends with 4

Group 5 = ( 5 15 25 35 45 ) All numbers ends with 5

Group 6 = ( 6 16 26 36 46 ) All numbers ends with 6

Group 7 = ( 7 17 27 37 47 ) All numbers ends with 7

Group 8 = ( 8 18 28 38 48 ) All numbers ends with 8

Group 9 = ( 9 19 29 39 49 ) All numbers ends with 9

The game numbers are always divided into a 10 groups, how many numbers are in particular group that depends on the game numbers range.

In picture below you can see circled in green, example of numbers from group 1.

NUMBERS CHOOSING ADVICE

Try selecting numbers from different ending-digit groups to increase variety.

Watch for trends – certain end-digit groups may appear more often in recent draws.

Avoid selecting numbers from just one group, as it’s uncommon for all numbers to be drawn from a single group.

Most games feature numbers drawn from multiple groups.

Use Count of Similar Groups in Draw analysis to determine how many groups are typically drawn in a game.

For instance, in a 6/49 game, if most numbers come from 4 to 6 groups, you can eliminate combinations that involve only 1 or 2 groups.

Here is example of bad numbers choosing regarding Groups of Similar Numbers of numbers:

Almost numbers in the ticket above are selected from one group of similar numbers only (circled in green).
It is very rare that a new lottery draw contains all numbers from one group only. in our example the numbers are 2,12,22,32,42 (all ends with 2)

FILTERING NUMBERS WITH FILTER Groups of Similar Numbers

WHAT THIS FILTER IS FOR

This filter helps manage lottery numbers, wheel system combinations, or generated tickets by controlling how many numbers with similar digit endings are included or excluded.
Please note that this filter might not be available when, in the game layout view's configuration, all numbers with similar digit endings are positioned in a single horizontal line. In such cases, use the Horizontal Line analysis method instead.

HOW TO ADD FILTER

On the Filters page select the Add Filter tab, choose Groups of Similar Numbers main filters from the list on the left side of page.
Select Numbers with 0 .. etc filter from the list on the right side of page.

Click the Add Filter button located on the toolbar. Selected filter will be added to your Game Filters list.
If you want to add more than one filter, select more filters using CTRL+A keys to select them all or hold CTRL key and select filters with mouse.

For more detailed information about filters page please see Filters Interface topic

HOW TO SET FILTER PROPERTIES

After adding the filter, you can go to the Game Filters page in the same Filters window to edit the filter properties.

The added filter will be located under the Groups of Similar Numbers group of all filters, with its value in the Property cell set to 1 as

Use

If selected, the filter will be used to apply filtering.

Action

Sets the filter action applied by the filter to determine the final outcome when filter's condition is met.

You can choose to accept or reject numbers

Select your preferred option from the drop-down menu in the Action column.

- When you choose Accept action then:
Only wheel system combinations or generated ticket numbers containing numbers from the analyzed group will be accepted.

- When you choose Reject action then:

Only wheel system combinations or generated ticket numbers containing numbers from the analyzed group will be rejected.

Property

Sets the filter's analyzed group.

You can modify the filter property to choose a different group by either using the spin edit control or typing the group number directly into the property cell.

Number Main Type

Sets the filter for Number Main Type, allowing you to filter numbers by their type.

If the main type is set to ALL, then all numbers are included regardless of their type.

Please refer to the Filters - Types of Numbers topic for more information about filtering numbers by their type.

You can select the type of number you want to filter by from the drop-down menu.

Number Subtype

Displays or sets the filter for Number Subtype, allowing you to filter numbers by their type.

If the sub type is set to ALL, then all numbers are included regardless of their sub type, only those set in the Number Main Type property are included.

Essentially, you can filter numbers by their occurrences in various types of number configurations.

You can select the type of number you want to filter by from the drop down menu.

Value

Sets the condition value required for the filter to be satisfied. The value applies to Number Main Type and Number Subtype options.

For example, you can specify how many contact number types you want to include in the generated tickets that belong to the group.

Range

Displays or sets the filter's condition range value, used only when the filter's condition is set to a Range of Values.

The range value applies to Number Main Type and Number Subtype options.

.

Condition

Filter conditions you can apply to meet the filter Value option criteria in conjunction with the Action option.

You can select a filter condition from drop-down list combo box one of the following conditions:

Any Number

This condition allows numbers contained in any End-Digit Group (numbers ending with the same digit) to be accepted or rejected without verifying other types, and no additional properties need to be configured.

Reject: Numbers within any End-Digit Group in the current layout will be excluded from generated tickets, and any wheel system combination containing such numbers will be rejected.

Accept: Numbers within any End-Digit Group in the current layout will be included into generated tickets, and any wheel system combination containing such numbers will be accepted.

Equals Filter Value

The filter will only meet its criteria if the quantity of numbers matched in the analyzed End-Digit Groups equals the specified value.

Reject: Generated tickets or wheel system combinations will not include selections where the exact specified numbers are matched in the End-Digit Groups.

Accept: Generated tickets or wheel system combinations will include only selections where the exact specified numbers are matched in the End-Digit Groups.

Higher than Filter Value

The filter will only meet its criteria if the quantity of numbers matched in the analyzed End-Digit Groups is greater than the specified value.

Reject: Generated tickets or wheel system combinations will not include selections where numbers matched in End-Digit Groups exceed the specified value.

Accept: Generated tickets or wheel system combinations will include only selections where numbers matched in End-Digit Groups exceed the specified value.

Lower than Filter Value

The filter will only meet its criteria if the quantity of numbers matched in the analyzed End-Digit Groups is less than the specified value.

Reject: Generated tickets or wheel system combinations will not include selections where numbers matched in End-Digit Groups are below the specified value.

Accept: Generated tickets or wheel system combinations will include only selections where numbers matched in End-Digit Groups are below the specified value.

Range of Values

The filter will only meet its criteria if the quantity of numbers matched in the analyzed End-Digit Groups falls within the specified range.

Reject: Generated tickets or wheel system combinations will not include selections where numbers matched in End-Digit Groups are within the specified range.

Accept: Generated tickets or wheel system combinations will include only selections where numbers matched in End-Digit Groups are within the specified range.

EXAMPLE

Here is the example of setting up filter to filter wheel system or numbers when generating tickets:
For example in a game 6/49 and for flexible and rather fail safe filtering please do as following
Set the Action property to Reject
Set the Number Main Type and Number Subtype to All

Under Filter Condition Options > Value set the value to 3
Under Filter Condition Options > Condition choose Less Than Filter Value condition.
In the results, all numbers in the generated tickets will include numbers from 3 to 6 groups, while wheel system combinations containing only 1 or 2 groups will be excluded.

VISUAL ANALYSIS OF Groups of Similar Numbers

HOW TO ANALYZE

Select from the Visual Analyser menu select:

Grouped Numbers > Groups of Similar Numbers > Numbers with 0... etc
The result of analysis is shown on a Visual Analyser's screen

DIAGRAMS INTERPRETATION

The first diagram shown at the top of screen illustrates the general occurrence of Groups of Similar Numbers numbers.

This analysis method is for standard and keno games only. For Pick games this will be an equivalent of analyzing vertical lines.

Here is an example diagram

analysisgroups

If number was NOT drawn then diagram will show a point in row 0

If number was drawn then diagram will show a point in row 1 or 2 etc, that depends on how many numbers were drawn.

The next diagrams will show analyzes of numbers that were drawn from individual groups with the similar numbers and at the same time those numbers were drawn as Contact, Cold etc number types.

Please notice that in the diagram above the analysis show Group 0 - All Types, you can dive deeper into more detailed analysis and select the primary number type instead of All Types.

When you change the primary number type using the Number Type Switch, diagrams display the analysis of the examined numbers and how they are represented as the primary number type in combination with other types.

Example when primary number is the Outside type:

analysisgroupscombination etc.

Please see also Analysis Screen topic for more info on how to interpret diagrams.

Please read also the Analysis Base topic to learn how to recognize the new number type after a new draw.
