EXPLANATION OF Numbers in Blocks (Low-High)

DESCRIPTION

Useful method of analyzing lottery draws involves dividing the full number range into two distinct parts: Low Block and High Block. This concept is known as Numbers in Blocks (Low-High) and helps to identify balance or bias in number selection.

Every lottery game has a fixed range of numbers, for example in standard games like 1 to 49, the range can be split into two halves:

Low Block: Lower half of the range (e.g., 1 to 24)

High Block: Upper half of the range (e.g., 25 to 49)

In a Pick games the range of its numbers is split in half, all pick numbers from 0 to 4 as low block and then all numbers from 5 to 9 as high block

NUMBERS CHOOSING ADVICE

By checking how many drawn numbers fall into each of these blocks, players can observe whether the draw leaned more toward low numbers, high numbers, or was evenly balanced. This is particularly effective when analyzing large sample sizes such as the last 100 draws.
Look for patterns in the frequency of low vs. high dominance. If a game frequently draws more low numbers (e.g., 4 out of 6 in the low block), you may adjust your combinations to reflect that trend. However, balance is often key combinations that mix 3 low and 3 high numbers are statistically common.

Extreme cases like all-low (e.g., 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10) or all-high (e.g., 30, 33, 36, 40, 45, 49) are very rare. These can occur, but they usually happen once in hundreds of draws. Identifying how often these extremes appear can help avoid unlikely combinations.

In Pick game however all numbers from low or high block are drawn more often.

Use

If selected, the filter will be used to apply filtering.

Action

Sets the filter action that determines what happens when the block condition is met. Choose your option from the Action column drop-down:

Accept

Generated tickets will include some numbers from the block

The wheel system accepts only combinations that have some numbers from the defined block

Reject

Generated tickets exclude any numbers from the defined block

The wheel system rejects combinations that have numbers from the defined block

Property

Sets the filter for analyzed block values; you can configure it here:

You can adjust the filter property here to select a different block for analysis by choosing another option from the drop-down combo box.

Number Main Type

Sets the filter for Number Main Type, allowing you to filter numbers by their type.

If the main type is set to ALL, then all numbers are included regardless of their type.

Please refer to the Filters - Types of Numbers topic for more information about filtering numbers by their type.

You can select the type of number you want to filter by from the drop-down menu.

Number Subtype

Displays or sets the filter for Number Subtype, allowing you to filter numbers by their type.

If the sub type is set to ALL, then all numbers are included regardless of their sub type, only those set in the Number Main Type property are included.

Essentially, you can filter numbers by their occurrences in various types of number configurations.

You can select the type of number you want to filter by from the drown menu.

Value

Sets the condition value required for the filter to be satisfied. The value applies to Number Main Type and Number Subtype options.

For example, you can specify how many contact number types you want to include in the generated tickets that belong to the block.

Range

Displays or sets the filter's condition range value, used only when the filter's condition is set to a Range of Values.

The range value applies to Number Main Type and Number Subtype options.

Condition

Filter conditions you can apply to meet the filter Value option criteria .

You can select a filter condition from drop-down list combo box one of the following conditions:

Any Number

This condition allows numbers contained in either the Low Block (lower half of the range) or High Block (upper half of the range) to be accepted or rejected without verifying other types, and no additional properties need to be configured.

When Action is Reject then:
Numbers within the Low or High Block in the current layout will be excluded from generated tickets, and any wheel system combination containing such numbers will be rejected.

When Action is Accept then:

Numbers within the Low or High Block in the current layout will be included into generated tickets, and any wheel system combination containing such numbers will be accepted.

Equals Filter Value

The filter will only meet its criteria if the quantity of numbers matched in the analyzed Low or High Block equals the specified value.

When Action is Reject then:
Generated tickets or wheel system combinations will not include selections where the exact specified numbers are matched in the Low or High Block.

When Action is Accept then:
Generated tickets or wheel system combinations will include only selections where the exact specified numbers are matched in the Low or High Block.

Higher than Filter Value

The filter will only meet its criteria if the quantity of numbers matched in the analyzed Low or High Block is greater than the specified value.

When Action is Reject then:
Generated tickets or wheel system combinations will not include selections where numbers matched in the Low or High Block exceed the specified value.

When Action is Accept then:
Generated tickets or wheel system combinations will include only selections where numbers matched in the Low or High Block exceed the specified value.

Lower than Filter Value

The filter will only meet its criteria if the quantity of numbers matched in the analyzed Low or High Block is less than the specified value.

When Action is Reject then:
Generated tickets or wheel system combinations will not include selections where numbers matched in the Low or High Block are below the specified value.

When Action is Accept then:
Generated tickets or wheel system combinations will include only selections where numbers matched in the Low or High Block are below the specified value.

Range of Values

The filter will only meet its criteria if the quantity of numbers matched in the analyzed Low or High Block falls within the specified range.

When Action is Reject then:
Generated tickets or wheel system combinations will not include selections where numbers matched in the Low or High Block are within the specified range.

When Action is Accept then:

Generated tickets or wheel system combinations will include only selections where numbers matched in the Low or High Block are within the specified range.

EXAMPLE

Here is the example of setting up filter to filter wheel system or numbers when generating tickets:
For example in a game 6/49 and for flexible and rather fail safe filtering please do as following
Set the Action property to Reject
Set the Number Main Type and Number Subtype to All

Under Filter Condition Options > Value set the value to little less than numbers of balls drawn in a game like 4 in our example.
Under Filter Condition Options > Condition choose More Than Filter Value condition

The generated tickets or wheel system combinations will not include more than four numbers in any analyzed blocks. This is a relatively safe option, as drawing more than four numbers in such a game is very rare

The first diagram shown at the top of screen illustrates the general occurrence of numbers in selected block.

blocks_low_high

If number was NOT drawn from the analyzed block then the diagram will show a point in row 0

If number was drawn then diagram will show a point in row 1 or 2 etc, that depends on how many numbers were drawn.

If drawn numbers are like 1 3 10 22 35 45, and three numbers are from block 1 to 24 were drawn (1 3 10) then the diagram will show point in row 3.

The next diagrams will show analyzes of numbers that were drawn from individual blocks and at the same time were drawn as Contact, Cold etc numbers

Please read also the Analysis Base topic to learn how to recognize the new number type after a new draw.
